Admittedly, arranging applications alphabetically on a mobile phone makes it easier to locate a specific application on one’s phone. Of course you can just think of the first alphabet that starts the name of the app and just locate the application faster.
To enable the arrangement of applications alphabetically at the menu screen of an Android device, navigate to the menu screen of the mobile Phone or Tablet by pressing the menu key.
At the top left corner of the menu screen, you should see something like an icon with suffix App — see the below image for clarification; after locating it, click on the icon.
An option box appears, asking you how you want your applications to be arranged, click on the “Alphabetical” option.
And that’s just it. Your applications at the menu screen will be arranged alphabetically immediately. In case you want the applications to be arranged in a different way, repeat the process and select another option i.e Recently Installed , Most used or Custom sort instead of Alphabetically.
